ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals for Cato Township, Montcalm County, Michigan will hold a special meeting and public hearing on Tuesday July 7, 2026 at 6:30pm at the Township Community Center, 309 S Lincoln Ave, Lakeview, MI 48850. The purpose of the special meeting and public hearing will be to consider (1) a non-use variance request involving property located at 10900 W. EDGAR RD, LAKEVIEW, MI 48850 (Parcel No. 004-020-004-20) for a land division variance to deviate from minimum lot area and lot width/frontage zoning requirements in the Agricultural-Residential District (A-R) and (2) any other business that may come before the Zoning Board of Appeals.
A copy of the variance request may be obtained at the Township Community Center during regular business hours, and the Township may charge a reasonable fee for copies. The Township will receive written comments concerning the variance request at the Township Community Center, 309 S. Lincoln Ave Lakeview, MI 48850. Written comments must be received prior to the start of the public hearing.
This notice is posted in compliance with the Open Meetings Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services who are planning to attend the meeting should notify the Clerk, Ginger Imhoff, (989) 330-5570 within a reasonable time in advance of the meeting.
