The Cato Township offices are located in the Cato Community Center at 309 S. Lincoln Avenue downtown in Lakeview.
As a General Law Village, the Village of Lakeview remains part of Cato Township and maintains a close administrative relationship with the Township.
Regular meetings of the Cato Township Board are typically held on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Meeting dates and times may be adjusted due to holidays or other scheduling needs.

Spring Community 2026 Clean-Up Day
Cato Township & the Village of Lakeview will hold a Joint clean-up day Saturday, April 11th.
Dumpsters will be located on North Street. If dumpsters fill before 12:00 noon, the site will close. Residents bringing materials are asked to have proof of residency to use this service. Examples would be a water or tax bill or picture ID with address. Lakeview Department of Public Works will be on-site to answer questions regarding items that will be accepted.
